“Hello neng, kumusta ka naman? Halika karga muna tayo bago ako punta ng skul”. I can still hear those words my MIL always say . She always get to bond with her granddaughter every time she comes home for lunch. Well she’s a teacher and lunch time is also a time to bond with Ella. I saw how she really loves her only grand daughter. But because of cancer our Lord took her from us. She died 2 years ago. We are all saddened of the great loss. For me she’s the greatest mother-in-law. From the first day I saw her till her last breath I didn’t hear harsh words she said to me. Even when she was in the hospital in Manila she greeted me on my birthday. Never heard her raise her voice on her daughters. She was a great example of patience. I learned a lot from her. That’s my mother-in-law. Now she’s with the Lord now. Someday we’ll meet again.
