Many people today refrain from availing social security benefits especially from the government because of misunderstanding and confusing processes. Many thought especially here in the Philippines that it is just a waste of money and of course our main concern corruption is rampant. That’s what I thought too until we exhausted our financial resources from my children getting sick all the time. When I tried to apply and avail of the social security program of the government I’m afraid I was mistaken. The processing is so fast and the contribution is very light. I shouldn’t have waited for so long from availing it. Now I don’t worry that much if ever one of us will need insurance in the future.
