How the hell did it happened? Couple of weeks ago we decided to apply for a City Mayors Business permit to operate our business legally. After eight days the permit was released but to our surprise it is only valid for 30 days. Our bookkeeper whom we hired to process our permit said that the reason is four years ago Carol’s name appeared on their system and was noted there that we already applied for the said permit that time. To my surprise I really can’t remember filing or paying anything in the business bureau during that time. Now how the hell did it happen. With that we cannot register our present business. Our bookkeeper said we might be paying charges for that. For me, hell no! Why would I be paying them when we didn’t even register the business.

Until now our bookkeeper is still processing the whole thing. We need to comply all the requirements before the 30 days deadline. Well, on the lighter side the city government is really in it’s very excellent service. Aside from the fast transactions on their office they have a great document management solutions because all the files are well kept and organized. Imagine they were able to find out that we had applied a business permit four years ago. That we will have to argue with the business bureau. I stand by my memory that we really did not applied for anything in the business bureau 4 years ago.
