Dominador Lee’s Cremation
by Donald on Jun.06, 2009, under Personal
I have been longing to post about the cremation of my father. He died four months ago with a nasopharyngeal carcinoma. He suffered from the disease for almost 3 years since the doctor diagnosed it. Before he died he told us what he wants during his wake and funeral. From his clothes he will wear, to the to the snacks be served, even up to his gravesites location on our farm. Just now I have the guts to share about my fathers cremation. I will share some photos the day he was cremated.
We waited for 3 hours to complete the whole process. The man was making sure everything is incinerated.
Contrary to popular belief, the cremated remains are not ashes in the usual sense, but rather dried bone fragments that have been pulverized in a device called an electric cremated remains processor. The pulverized bone fragments weighed only 2 kilos.
