Daily Dose
by Donald on Jan.16, 2010, under Personal
Ella’s having issues taking her daily dose of vitamin C. We made it a habit for both of them. To somehow improve their immune system against sickness. We all know hospitalization and medicines are not cheap in this country. We’ve learned the lesson when Eman got sick. It’s not easy for parents see their children suffering from sicknesses.
Back to Ella. She really doesn’t like the taste of her vitamins. Have to raise my eyebrows to get her butt up. Well, she can do nothing about our daily habit. It is a must for them. Parents knows best.
Health Investment

Oh my…It’s like I owe big time for not updating my blog. Kinda busy with some very important things. Like rolling and bending bones to earn extra for the growing needs of my family. FYI, we’re now four in the family. Glad that first, Eman is breast fed. Second, we save money from buying formula. That sends our savings for Carol’s annual MVP check up we had last week. If we only had insurance like Blue Cross North Carolina maybe we could have saved more. Anyway, about the checkup of Carol still no changes. Luckily it didn’t gotten worst. Since we have a very heavy baby it contributed to her increased palpitation in heart and some lower back pains. The doctor advised her not to carry Eman very often so that it won’t trigger her heart palpitation and the back pains.
On the other hand, the kids got their shots from their Pediatrician. Ella got her anti flu vaccine and one with Eman which I forgot what is it for. (lol) All I know is it is for their welfare and get rid of common diseases we nowadays. In times like these we have to invest on our health.
Tomorrow we will leave the city and head back home. I missed the house as well as our motorcycle. I bought some accessories for her to make her look good.
Oh Farm Town, How I Love Thee!
by Donald on Jul.06, 2009, under Personal
Oh I love Farm Town! Got hooked by it. The time that I should spend on updating my blog is spent on plowing and harvesting. I think everybody in my family circle are playing this game. Except for Eman and Ella. (Ella is playing Pet Society too! *lol*)Thanks to SIL Crislyn who introduced it to Carol and Carol influenced me. I am sure that if ever I play Farm Town I am sure I can’t get myself out of it from playing. It is so addicting.
That justifies me and Carol from not updating our blogs.
Today, well try to start a brand new day. Tried planting crops that can be harvested after 3 days. That gives me time to drop ecs, update my blog and check some skin care products for Che-Che who solicited from us for spending her time and helping us here for a week.
I’m Back With PR-2!

There’s really nothing to be proud of. I am just glad that Mr. Google finally is crawling into my site. I now exist in to the ‘www’. A vast space to get into. To what extent or criteria does Mr. Google make to rank your site, I have no idea. They say create a large traffic in your site. The more visits the more Mr. Google ranks the site. I don’t care as long as I have loyal friends and followers. I am just happy to be ranked.
We just came back from the city. Got some important things to buy like additional clothes for our little guy. In just 2 mothns and 3 weeks to be exact, he out grown almost all of his clothes. Our little guy is in the verge of his growth spurt. He’s just really a big baby. For the ate, we bought her a new pair of sandal and a Sunday dress. We also took her to a photo house in the mall for her late birthday picture. She poses like a pro. I don’t know where she got those poses. Maybe she saw it on the tv or in the internet.
We had a lot of fun while we were there. The kids met their tita’s and tito’s and of course with her lola. Now where here with Che-Che in the house. She will be here until she gets a call from her teacher to start her OJT.
at Papa’s room….Tita Lab-lab, kit-kit, lola and sussie

Double Happiness!
by Donald on Jun.04, 2009, under Personal
Just today I had the luxury of time to post about the birthday of our Ella. I am still adjusting with our new schedule of activity around the house. Since Eman was born, our day starts earlier than usual. Added to that Ella must go to school much earlier than her kindergarten days. Carol and I shares the task. She bathes Eman while me helping Ella prepare for school. I could not resist the joy of taking care of my children. You will witness them grow up, specially with Ella. Eman is still a baby and depends more with her Mommy. Here is a photo of our 1 year old Ella…

It was her birthday last June 02. She celebrated it with her close friends. I saw in her eyes how happy she was and that doubled the happiness too for Carol and I. Anyway, I have to go. Need to find info about best diet pills online.
Nay…we missed the laundry this week!
by Donald on May.30, 2009, under Personal
We missed this weeks laundry and the baskets are now overflowing with dirty clothes including Eman’s. As much as we can, Carol and I tries our very best to regularly do the laundry every week. For some quite valid reasons, like Carol has to take Ella to the school for the interview and test for admission to SPED class. It took them two days for that. Second, bad weather. As you all know our province is rich in rainfall. That justifies us for missing of this weeks laundry.
One more thing, we ran out of area rugs inside the house. They don’t dry fast because the ones we have are the thick. Air drying is not enough. It will take atleast 2 days to dry with a very sunny weather.
These things will be taken care of when Ella’s birthday is done. That’s next week, and next week will be another ton of dirty clothes!!!
test+pass=birthday party
by Donald on May.25, 2009, under Personal
Ella made my day today. You know why?????
Early this morning Carol and Ella went to the school where she will be enrolled. She took the test and interviewed for a slot on their SPED (Special Education) program. After three agonizing hours of waiting here in the house with the little guy, I was wondering if she answered the questions correctly and responded to the interview wisely. I am excited to hear the news. Much of our desire is to send Ella to that SPED school because first- she will learn a lot, second-a comfortable classroom with air condition,third-there are only 30 pupils in a class, and lastly- she will make us proud.
She did made it! When Carol went back to the school this afternoon to check if she passed the test, good news welcomed her and the teachers told her that she did pass! I couldn’t believe what I heard from Carol that she can be enrolled in SPED program of the school. What a breaking good news!
Seriously…she’s focusing
I am excited of how will the outcome of this decisions we are making. Hope that Ella takes her study seriously and diligently. When classes starts, it will be much earlier and dismissal will be much late than the regular pupils who are not enrolled in SPED program.
Our promise to her is when she passes the test she will have her kiddie birthday party this June 02. Nothing can stop that party now. Thank God we can give Ella a little birthday party. This is to let her feel that even though we have little guy added in the family, she’s still our special princess. Our love for her has never been changed. They are assured they get equal love and attention from their Mommy and Daddy.
It’s 8 days to go before her birthday. Her decorations first birthday was a good one and simple. We are planning to do thesame on her 6th birthday. Spaghetti and chicken will do. I will be preparing parlor games for the kids because for sure all the kids on our block, she will surely invite them all.
Mamang’s 3rd Death Anniversary
by Donald on May.23, 2009, under Personal
Today is the 3rd year death anniversary of my Mother-in-law. I can still recall all the good memories I had with her when she was still alive. Especially with her close relationship with her then only grand daughter Ella. Every time they have an out of town activities she always gives me a new set of underwears. So with Ella too, there’s always a ‘pasalubong’ for her only grand daughter. That’s my memories with my Mamang Eling. So, we decided to make our dinner a little special to give respect to our Mamang’s death anniversary. We had a home made chicken barbecue and a mouth watering water melon.
If we have this kind of meal everyday we might need a fitness equipment we can use since we do not go out of the house to exercise. With those equipments we can still be physically active even without going out of the house.
We love you Mamang and you will always be in our thoughts forever.
