Watch me with my pacifier
by Donald on Apr.14, 2009, under Personal
Hello guys. I’d like to share something with you. After signing in for an account on YouTube I finally was able to upload a video. Carol took this while they were in the bedroom and sort of playing with our little fellow. Oh he’s so cute and innocent.
It was his first time to suck a pacifier…
Now if you’ll excuse me I’ll have to check on weight loss pills
for my dear wife. She’s a little worried with her weight gaining while rearing our little fellow. She has to eat a lot so that there will be more milk for Eman.
Dirty mittens, briefs, cloth diapers, etc…
by Donald on Apr.11, 2009, under Personal
The weather has been gloomy since we arrived here. Well, good for Eman he’s having a good sleep during the day. (that’s what he does all day)
Not so good to me because his clothes won’t dry quickly because Mr. Sun is behind the black clouds hiding. Everyday I have to wash Emans dirty mittens, briefs, cloth diapers, etc. so that I won’t deal with his collection of dirty clothes.
Today there’s not much rain shower. In the afternoon I had the chance to clear out the weeds in our front yard. They seem to grow very fast. Just last month we already pulled and cleared all weeds there. Maybe because there is a lot of rain shower. It’s summertime yet our weather here is always wet. I am just glad I finished one task today.
I just finished preparing a sermon for tomorrow. I am excited because it’s been a while since I stood up and preach here. I missed the brethren here and good news, we have the additional chairs now and a sound system. We don’t have to shout for them to hear us speaking in front and no more shortage of chairs during worship service.
Now I have to check on websites that talks about drug rehab that maybe could help my wife’s cousin. He’s been a drug user for many years now and his family is greatly affected with his addiction to drugs.
Back in the province
by Donald on Apr.08, 2009, under Personal
Welcome home Eman! The Lee family is back in the province again. I missed our place and the people here. We’ve been out of town for almost two months. I am just glad that everything went well while we’re in the city. Like Carol’s giving birth to Eman. Even though we had little problem with the hospital bill we still managed to solve it. There were no complications or health issues to both my dear Carol and Eman. Our prayers were all answered. May the Lord be praised for all the things he has done to us. Truly God was with us during those times. It’s our Emmanuel Miguel who gave us inspiration.
Again, welcome home Eman!
Now my dream vacation in Anaheim California hotel will be postponed.
Lola and Tita
by Donald on Apr.04, 2009, under Personal
This afternoon the little fellow got visitors. My mother and sister came here to see the little guy. It’s the first time my sister will see Miguel Emmanuel. She said, I and my elder brother make beautiful and handsome babies.
In fairness, it’s true. Maybe she’s just envious of us having offspring. I don’t know what her plans in the future, get married maybe? She’s been telling us she’ll get married soon but that hasn’t happened until now. I heard her saying this afternoon that all baby clothes of Eman be kept for her. For her to use with her own baby? In the near future.
Well, we’re excited when that time comes.

I overheard my mom talking to the little fellow that it’s too late for Eman ( that’s what we call him) to see his grandfather (lolo). He passed away last February 21 from nasopharyngeal carcinoma. My father did all he can to survive until Eman comes out but unfortunately he didn’t make it. Well, he’s still living in our thoughts and hearts. We always remember him and will tell Eman about how kind and loving his lolo to his grandchildren. Ella is lucky to experience her lolo’s kindness. Cancer took him from us. Soon there will be cure to all cancer diseases. If my father is still alive he could have spend more time with his “apos” (grandchildren).
I read over the internet about Mesothelioma cancer. A form of cancer always caused by previous exposure to asbestos. There are stories there similar to us. Families lossing their loved ones because of the disease. There will really come a time when there will be no more sickness and diseases. Where a lolo and his apo can enjoy their moment of bonding together.
