Ella’s new favorite cartoon character is Hello Kitty. One time we passed by a store in a mall and saw this Hello Kitty cellphone. She jumped into delight seeing a cellphone like that and asking me to buy it.

How about a Hello Kitty Maternity Hospital? They have one in Yuanlin, Taiwan.  Built on 1996 for the purpose to ease the stress of child birth. “I wish that everyone who comes here, mothers who suffer while giving birth and children who suffer from an illness, can get medical care while seeing these kitties and that we can bring a smile to their faces, helping forget about discomfort and recover faster,” said Tsai Tsung-chi, the director of the hospital.

It’s a new way of giving new perspective towards hospitals. Tired of those boring white walls, white nurses and doctors. It is pleasurable and full of uniqueness.

I wonder how much it cost to give birth in this hospital. When Eman was born we paid large amount for Carol’s hospitalization because she has to undergo a painless procedure. We will try our best to invest on cheap health insurance as back up whenever one of us needs hospitalization.
