Where home now, and Ella is asking me to get that game and download it to our computer. Who can’t resist the charm of a child with a very polite way of convincing me to download it.  Today I found one torrent link in www.piratebay.org. A link to download the Counter Strike game. After the long wait because we have a very “fast ISP” in the province with only 250 kbps speed finally We succesfullly downloaded it. Unzipped the file and installed the game we are good to go to play the game when suddenly, “bawal ang ganyan na laro dito ha” ! It’s Carol. We can’t play that game here…Ella and I are starting to enjoy the game of “killing”. She even coached me that it is a war game and why am I hiding and not attacking the enemy. But the latter phrase was heard again. That’s a violent game and that is not good for Ella–which is right of course. Well, there is nothing we can do but to stop what we are doing. Carol won.

As a parent we sometimes forget the good values we must teach our children. I admit I got carried away by that game. Thanks to my partner who’s always there to remind me. As to Ella, she went back playing Dora.
